For high bandwidth requirements
of 2Mbps to 622Mbps, OMNIconnect can provide you with
microwave links for Internet and VPN connectivity with
reliable links suitable for real-time applications such
as voice and video.
Products Available:
Unlicensed 2.4GHz Spread Spectrum
Unlicensed microwave links provide
an economical solution for connecting offices with up
to 50Mbps bandwidth on non-critical links.
Unlicensed links do not require
the annual license fees attached to Licensed Links,
but
therefore in some locations, the free spectrum can
be saturated by other Unlicensed links as it a shared
frequency
spectrum. In these locations, Licensed Microwave may
be an option.

- Where a low cost service is required
- Where line-of-site is available
between sites or via one of our POP’s
- Where non Real-time applications
are run, such as data
Licensed Microwave
Licensed microwave provides an excellent
alternative to traditional carrier grade terrestrial
data links, ideally suited to the medium to large enterprise
that require guaranteed bandwidth for Real-Time application
such as voice and video.
As a custom solution, licensed microwave
delivers highly secure and scalable, point-to-point
broadband links with speeds from 2Mbps to 155Mbps and
beyond.
Utilizing our multi-homed backbone
to the Internet, we can not only provide your enterprise
a private network between sites, but additionally provide
a broadband connection to the Internet.
